Labor & Delivery
Having a baby is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in a woman's life, and Northwest Healthcare is dedicated to providing expectant mothers and newborns with the finest care. Obstetricians, labor and delivery specialists, nurses and other healthcare providers collaborate for you in a welcoming hospital environment designed for everyone's comfort.
You'll find a range of care from prenatal to postpartum care, including high-risk pregnancy care and advanced labor and delivery services. We offer services that extend beyond childbirth, with a variety of educational resources for new parents.
Prenatal Care
Pregnancy care begins early with prenatal checkups, fetal monitoring and other services tailored to your specific needs. You'll work with your OB/GYN to learn about proper nutrition, prevent/manage/monitor pregnancy-related conditions like gestational diabetes or preeclampsia, develop a birth plan, choose a pediatrician and get properly prepared for the arrival of your baby.
Labor and Delivery
Delivery rooms are equipped with everything doctors, nurses and other maternal specialists need to provide you with excellent care during childbirth, including a range of pain management options. Experienced labor and delivery staff use advanced medical technology. They manage C-section (Cesarean) births and perform other surgical procedures when necessary.
Breastfeeding Support
Caring maternity nursing staff members are available to provide breastfeeding assistance and education, and classes for new mothers are available. Click here for information on breastfeeding and newborn care classes.
