New Northwest Healthcare Market CEO Announcement

We are pleased to welcome Andrew “Drew” Emery, MHA, as our new Northwest Healthcare Market CEO. In this role, Drew will provide strategic oversight for our entire market, ensuring that our network of facilities continues to operate as a cohesive, high-performing system. Central to his approach will be close collaboration with each of our hospital CEOs and CAOs, working together to drive excellence across every campus in our community.

Drew, who comes to us from his role as CEO for Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN, brings a wealth of operational and strategic leadership experience, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality. He was instrumental in his team’s significant improvements across the board - and to significant growth and expansion of admissions patient care at a 270-bed, joint ventured acute care hospital. Under his leadership, Tennova Healthcare celebrated 630 days without a CAUTI or CLABSI, and zero falls with a fracture for a 12-month period. In addition, Tennova Healthcare became the region’s only Stroke Center with Primary Stroke Designation certification from the Joint Commission.

Over his career, Drew has demonstrated experience in establishing diverse partnerships and collaborations, as well as provider recruitment and retention. Drew earned his Master of Health Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He serves on many volunteer boards for public service organizations, and has always been active in the community.
